First Entry!

This is just going to be a quick round up of my life up until this point. I was born in Dawson Creek on Valentines Day just about 30 years ago now. Wow how time flies by! My little sis and I were raised by two great parents, that will never know how much there lessons and love, are, and will forever be appreciated. After a fairly normal childhood of getting into shit and learning plenty of hard lessons along the way, I now enjoy life in Calgary, Alberta.
I had decided that I wanted to be a Fire Fighter quite sometime ago and after many years working in both the construction and Oil/Gas industry I finally landed my dream job in July of '07. Just over a year and a half after that I also joined the Aquatics Team and am now am an Aquatic Rescue Tech./PSD Diver with the CFD as well. Becoming a member of the aquatics team was the reason why I had chosen the CFD, so being a full fledged member now is something that I hold very dear. Having a job that you love to go to everyday, I believe is one key to living a happy healthy life. Also, helping other people in there time of need is one of the most full filling things any human being can do. Or at least that is what I believe.  

I share most of my days with a beautiful lady that I met way back in grade 7 and count my blessings every time I look into her smiling eyes. We have accomplished so much in our young lives, that most married couples now a days can not hold a candle to. So proud:) One day I will throw a ring on that lady's finger! We have one child. Okay, she is a canine, but part of the family all the same. The love and devotion that an animal can show you, is something that the whole world needs to learn from.
