WELCOME

I figured I would start this blog as more of a journal/diary if you will, on my life and how I try to live. It will hopefully help family and friends keep up with what I have going on in my life and maybe inspire a few others to step out of there comfy "box" and really live there lives. -Carpe Diem

Keep on smilin'

Always put a smile on your face when things go not quite as planned:) It seems like people lose sight of what is "bad" most days. If your latte does not quite have the right amount of foam, someone is driving in the fast lane at 100km/h on Deerfoot (even thought the speed limit is 100km/h, not too mention you probably left too late), your food at the restaurant comes out a little under cooked, or there is more than 1 person in line at the grocery store.......you should not consider yourself as having a "bad" day. These are things that happen in day to day life and are just a part of living. Things could be worse. So keep on smilin'
Just take a look at the homeless guy begging for money at the stop light, or the grieving spouse/family that just found out their love one received a one way ticket over to Afghanistan, and will not be coming home for that last kiss. Or that 10 year old child that has terminal cancer, and has not even had a chance to start living her/his life.
Always look at the glass as being half full. There are hundreds of others that would give anything to even have the time back that you have used up reading this post. You may be thinking......."ya right, I am really having a "bad" day!"  Go grab todays newspaper and take a look in the back at the obituaries. Each one of those people would.
You're still alive and should be happy you can still have those apparent "bad" days. So, keep on smilin' and try giving the world a friendly wave instead of the finger on your drive to work  Monday morning:) Cause your alive and having a pretty great day!-Carpe Diem smilers:)
